Another Scampi Sighting!

Earlier this month I posted a new artist with nothing but a ukulele and a lovely voice to make music. I have to tell you that I find that fact very refreshing and think a voice as pure as Scampi's should be the music itself.

Well, I became a fan on facebook. I recommend you "fan" her too (don't let the sudden flash of French frustrate you, they do have some things in English on the page). They've really gotten things rolling and keep updating and uploading videos, just like this one here:

The song is a cover of Amy Winehouse's "Back to Black". The title of the video translates into something like "I have nothing, but my poor guitar." Well, you see Scampi, that's why we love you!

More, s'il vous plaît?

Pursuit of Happiness (Kid Cudi Cover):

Her name is Scampi.
Other than that she is French, I can't find anything else about the beauty and her lovely, antique of a voice.

She's so cute! I want to know more. M'aide!
At the end she says, "J'ai mal au popotin," which translates to "my butt hurts!" I bet so, girl.

***Thanks to mmitchelldaviss.net for the music share.

Travel By Song:

I just had a delightful trip. All thanks to the talents of Ellen Allien and Apparat on their 2006 album Orchestra of Bubbles.

Their song "Jet" acted as a warm, thumping vehicle to a state of mind I call the cosmos.

It is definitely electronic music, which I am always hesitant and hot/cold over. Thanks to grand Providence, "Jet" is a burning, glowing ember type of hot in my life :
